Amy Leake Wilburn

Amy Leake Wilburn, 47, of Worthington, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020, in U.K. Medical Center.

She was born November 27, 1972, in Ashland, KY, a daughter of Paul Leake and Jeannine Meade Leake of Ashland.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Sonia Leake Dent, in 2017.

Amy was a 1990 graduate of Boyd County High School and a 1995 graduate of Ohio University where she received a degree in Elementary Education. She attended Wildwood First Church of God, had previously worked at the Ashland YMCA and currently worked as a Family Advocate at Ashland Exceptional Early Childhood Center.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Rob Wilburn of Worthington; children, Cooper Jordan of Louisville, KY, Claire Jordan of Worthington and Maverick McCullough of Worthington; step sons, Kyle Wilburn of Ashland and Brad Wilburn of Florida; sister, Stacy Acuff and husband, Aaron of Ashland; father and mother in law, Bob and Betty Wilburn of Ashland; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.

A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Meade Family Cemetery with Pastor Steve Harris officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel.
