Beryle Atkins Williams, 96, of Ashland, KY went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 13, 2018.
She was born on November 6, 1921 in Clifton Forge, VA to Betty and Burton Atkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Poe J. Williams; two sons, Poe Jeffrey (Jeff) Williams, Jr., James Randolph (Randy) Williams; her parents; two sisters, Lena Belle Byer and Margaret Dawson; and a granddaughter, Melissa Dawn Williams.
Beryle is survived by three daughters and two sons; Vickie (Terry) Hesler, Debbie (Jim) Ketron, Dove Crum, Chuck (Paula) Williams, and Tom Williams; one brother, Burton Atkins; nine grandchildren, Dori Williams, Jay (Kris) Carter, Denise (Michael) McCready Carter, Holly Bryson, Heather (Jason) Bennett, Alison (Scott) Nickell, Austin (Monique) Ketron, Joshua Crum, Matthew Crum; fourteen great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter and a close niece Patty Gail Dawson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, September 17, 2018 at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
Visitation will be after 10 AM Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Beryle’s memory may be made to Community Hospice or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
