Carol J. Armstrong

Carol Armstrong, 80 years old went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Hospice.  Peace has come after a three year long struggle with dementia.  Carol was preceded in death by her Husband Gale and her Mother Elizabeth (Oma) .  She is survived by her brother Roy, Children Lynne, Lori and Dene , Grandchildren Jessica (Tyler)Elizabeth (Mack), Douglas, Amanda (Kenny) and Connor.   Carol had  six Great Grandchildren.  Carol  has countless friends that she has made along the way while running the Big Lynne Lodge on the Blue Ridge Parkway.  Her ashes will be buried beside her Husband in Spruce Pine, North  Carolina.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Avenue, Ashland, KY 41101, would be appreciated.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
