Cheryl Ann Thomas, 61, of Catlettsburg, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020, in King's Daughters Medical Center.
She was born November 22, 1958, in Russell, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Merle and Irene Mullins Salyer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother in law, Teresa and Bill Clark.
Cheryl studied at Russell High School and the University of Kentucky. She was a former Patient Care Assistant at Cabell Huntington Hospital and worked for many years as a care giver.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Danyet Todd of Catlettsburg; brothers, Cecil (Sharon) Salyer of Portsmouth, VA, and Paris "Buddy" (Sharon) Salyer of Olive Hill, KY; sisters, Donna (Jim) Metheney of Columbus, OH and Merlene (Roy) Fannin of Olive Hill, KY.
In accordance with Cheryl's wishes a private service for her family will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel.
