Cindy Morris

Cynthia A. Wells Morris, 84, of Ashland, formerly of Johnson County, KY, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Oakmont Manor in Flatwoods, KY. Cindy was born May 26, 1937 in Paintsville, KY, one of eleven children born to the late Ali, Sr. and Sadie Collins Wells. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Don Phillip Morris, her daughter Vicky, brothers Sammie and Charles, sisters Emma Jean, Eileen, Lorraine, Donna, Dorris, Mary and Murl.
Cindy came to Ashland in 1963. She attended the Moore Street Tabernacle and was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Rho Chapter-Ashland. Cindy worked as a receptionist in the Physician office of Doctor’s Malcomb H. & Malcomb A. King for 25 years.
Survivors include her brother Ali Wells, Jr. Of Paintsville and many other surviving relatives.
A memorial service to honor Cindy’s life will be held 3:00pm Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel by Brother James Wells. Entombment will follow the service.
Friends & family may gather for visitation after 2:00pm Wednesday at the Mausoleum Chapel.
