On December 31, 2015, Ed married his partner of 28 years, Holton Louden Eads in the Eleanor Roosevelt Ballroom at the Old Post Office. They enjoyed 33 wonderful years together. In addition to his husband, Ed is survived by his father, Robert Earl Figgins; brothers, Timothy Figgins and wife, Sheila, and Terry Dale Figgins and wife, Michelle; nephews, Daniel Figgins and wife, Emily, Paul Figgins and wife, Jessica, Tanner Figgins and wife Jaycee; father and mother in law, Joe L. and Judith M.
