Edward Roy Rowland

Edward Roy Rowland, 75, of Ashland, KY, passed away at KDMC on January 9, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 25, 1943 to the late Robert Roy and Lena Guerra Rowland.
Edward retired from CSX after 29 years as an inspector, and was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and also served proudly in the Kentucky National Guard. He was also a member of Beech Street Christian Church.
He is survived by his loving wife Margie Fowler Rowland and a son Tyler Christopher Rowland both of Ashland, KY.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 1:00 at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel and will be officiated by Pastor Kevin Campbell. Entombment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel prior to the graveside service.
