Ella Irene Caskey

Ella Irene Caskey, 77, of Ironton, formerly of Ashland, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Mrs. Caskey was born March 21, 1941 in Ashland, a daughter of the late Jasper and Margie Pack Wheeler. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Bobby Caskey and a sister Carol Dewitt.
Ella was a loving mother and grandmother to her family. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her sons Robert Caskey of Coal Grove, OH, Gary Caskey of Florida, Terry Scott Caskey of Columbus, OH, brothers Bob Wheeler of Ashland, Jasper “Junior” Wheeler of Boyd County, Kenneth Wheeler of Ashland, sisters Mae Irons of Kenova, WV, Sharon Sparks of Boyd County, Sophie Fluty of Morehead, KY, grandchildren Robbie Caskey, Joshua Caskey, Ashley Caskey, nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue by Zach Daniels. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00am till 1:00pm at the funeral home.
