Love and prayers go out to Jo's family. She was a remarkable lady. She overcome many medical problems. My mother, Jean Howell and her became close friends in a short time. I grew to love her as well. She will be missed greatly.

Our prayers go out to Joann's family in their time of grief. I will always remember her for some rare traits-First she was tenacious-She survived multiple serious medical problems with sheer will, where others would have likely perished-She was a risk taker in all aspects of her life-and last she was a fun loving person, always up for all activities which became available. Being a first cousin near the same age, we enjoyed time together, she visiting our house as we grew up and I visiting her's. I will always remember her.
