Joyce J. Jackson

Joyce J. Jackson, 83, of Ashland, Ky., passed away on September 22, 2018 at Harbor Health Care in Ironton, Ohio. She was born on March 7, 1935 in Ashland, Ky. to the late James E. “Pops” and Josephine Brumfield “Nana” Keeton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother J. Donald Keeton.
Joyce Graduated from Highland Park College in Detroit with a nursing degree.
She is survived by her son Frederick William Stacey Jackson (Chrystal); a sister Janice K. Lewis (Bob); a brother James E. Keeton II (Thelma); grandchildren Frederick William Stacey Jackson II and Tristian Ethaniel Neal Jackson; great grandchildren Frederick William Stacey Jackson III and Darius Lee Lewis; nieces and nephews Jimmy Keeton, Freddy Keeton, Lori Johnson, Donnie Keeton, Donna Keeton and Debra Scott; Loving best friend and caretaker that was just like part of the family Linda Belford, and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM and will be officiated by Chaplain Jimm Smedley. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time.
