Kenneth Wells

Kenneth Wells, 72, of Ashland, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

Kenneth was born July 4, 1945 in Portsmouth, OH, a son of the late William and Clara Blanton Wells.

Kenneth was a member of the American Legion Post #371 and the VFW Post 9091 in Wellston, OH. He attended both Paul Blazer and Russell High Schools. He retired after many years of service as a Roll Former with the former Frick-Gallagher Manufacturing Company in Wellston. He served his country proudly with the US Army.

Survivors include his son Kenneth Wells and wife Jamie of Ashland, daughters Jessica Wells and fiancé Scott Kight of Wellston, Georgia Rose Cothran of Florida sisters Georgia Ann Pryor of Florida, Clara Wells Nemeth, Juanita Jean Montgomery, Cathy Wells Nester, grandchildren, Jonathan Miller, Ny Ny Smith, Gabby Smith, Christopher Smith, Sr. Christopher Smith, Jr., Autumn Wells, Austin Wells and a host of extended family and friends.

A service to celebrate Kenneth’s life is being planned for 4:00pm Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Armco Park, Shelter 3, in Ashland. Please contact the family prior to services for further details.
