Lillian M. Nunley

Lillian M. Nunley, 84, peacefully passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Mrs. Nunley was born September 17, 1934 in Ashland, a daughter of the late William and Ernestine Harvey McCreery. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Nunley and her brother John McCreery.
Lillian was a lifelong resident of Ashland. She was a 1952 graduate of Ashland High School and, as a young lady, worked for Armco Steel Company as a secretary in the Blast furnace Department. This is where she met her late husband Charles. Lil was active in the Armco girls club playing golf, tennis and the game of bridge. She was a member of the Normal Presbyterian Church and attended the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.
Surviving is her daughter and best friend Kristi L. Nunley of Ashland and a host of dear friends.
A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) by Rev. Dr. Isaac W. Nicholson.
Private burial will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East at the convenience of the family.
