Mary Margaret Greening

Mary Margaret Greening, 96, of Ashland, died Monday, September 26, 2022 at Woodland Oaks Health Care Center.
She was born November 23, 1925 in Simpsonville, KY, the daughter of the late Thomas Varble and Edna Tippit Carr.
She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Stambaugh; two brothers, Charles Varble and Jesse Varble; one sister, Dorothy Watson.
Survivors include one son, Eugene “Gino” Cox and wife Michelle of Ashland; two daughters, Marjorie Strother of Ashland and Angela Slone and husband Jeff of Rush; eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church with V. Rev. D. Andrew Canon Garner, KHS presiding. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM Wednesday at the church.
