Matt Terry

Matthew A. Terry , 41, of Ashland, passed away on Friday, August 5th 2022.

The youngest of four children, Matthew was born in Ashland KY on May 20 1981. He is survived by his loving parents Harold and Lee Terry. His oldest brother John L. Bryan preceded him in death.

Matthew was a union laborer with local 1445. He graduated from Boyd County High School in 1999. His proudest and most precious accomplishment in life are his three children that he truly loved with his whole heart. He was the proud father to his two sons; Coltyn West and Hudsyn Terry and his daughter CharLee Belle Terry. He loved UK sports and making his friends and family laugh!

In addition to his parents and children, Matthew is survived by his brother Kenny L. Bryan (Karen), his sister Alice Martin (Steve), his ex-wife and mother of his children Nicole West Terry, father and mother in law Dale and Sandi West. Matthew will be missed by so many people that loved him including his aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins along with numerous friends and family.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the STEEN FUNERAL HOME 13TH ST. CHAPEL by Pastor Tom Leach. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park.

Visitation will be prior to services on Tuesday beginning at 11:00am at the funeral home.
