Ovirda Sutton

Ovirda Pickett Sutton, 79, of Westwood went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday evening, September 10th surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 26, 1941, in Ashland, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Leonard Fain and Mamie Price Fain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Dallas W. Sutton, Sr. and brothers and a sister.
Ovirda was a faithful member of Kenwood Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She served alongside her husband during his many years of ministry. She was a devout Christian and the family finds comfort in knowing she is finally home.
She was a devoted and beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.
She will be laid to rest in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Because of Ovirda’s love of her church and severe family allergies, the family humbly, request in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Kenwood Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 195, Flatwoods, KY, 41139.
