Patricia Cochran

Patricia Donnelly Smith Cochran was born on January 31, 1930 in Windsor, Ontario Canada and was the daughter of Edward James Donnelly and Della Kathleen Cornwall Donnelly. She was preceded in death by her husbands Robert Franklin Cochran and Frank Johnson Smith, in addition to her two sons William Thomas McKee Jr. and Stuart Webb McKee, her sister Donna Kathleen Donnelly and her brother Dr. K.C. Donnelly.  
Patricia received her BA from Marshall University and her MA from Morehead State University. She taught Spanish at Paul G. Blazer High School for 22 years in addition to part time teaching at Ashland Community and Technician College, Ohio University (Ironton Branch) and Ironton High School.  
Patricia was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church where she served on the vestry and as a Sunday school teacher, acolyte mother, altar guild member, lay reader and chalice bearer. She was also a docent at the Kentucky Highlands Museum, an auxiliary member and volunteer at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital and the Community Kitchen.  
Patricia is survived by her brother Edward James Donnelly II of Troy, VA, her daughter Suzanne M. Stewart (Tony) of Ashland, KY and three stepchildren Jann C. Beard (Frank) of Signal Mountain, TN, Randall B. Cochran (Diane) of The Woodlands, TX, and Stephen W. Cochran (Sharon) of New Orleans, LA. Patricia also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  
A memorial service at Calvary Episcopal Church and burial at Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary Episcopal Church Memorial Fund or Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Avenue, Ashland, KY 41101.
