Polly Judd

Pauline Ruth “Polly” Judd, 91, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away on July 31, 2019 at Bridgeport Health and Rehab Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. Polly was born in Portsmouth, OH on August 13, 1927 to the late Howard Waverly and Edith Mae Burton Oliver. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Glenn Brian Judd, a brother Norman Oliver and a sister Martha Thorpe.
Polly was a graduate of Ashland High School, Class of 1945, a former Ashland City Commissioner and a member of First Baptist Church of Ashland. She also worked in the family business The Hamburger Inn.
She is survived by her son Mark Judd and his wife Middy of Elizabethtown, KY; daughters Naomi Judd (Larry Strickland) of Leipers Fork, TN and Margaret Mandell of Los Angeles, CA; Six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel and will be officiated by her son Mark Judd. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, August 4, 2019 at the funeral home from 4:00-8:00 PM.
