Raymond M. "Junie" Tabor

Raymond (Junie) M. Tabor, 68, of Ashland passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Charleston, WV on December 2, 1949 to the late Raymond M. Tabor, Sr. and Olive Westfall Tabor. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother John I. Tabor.

He was a huge baseball fan and was a member of the Charleston Big League in 1968 when they were the World Series Champs.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 46 years, Judy Starks Tabor; a daughter Angela Tabor Holbrook; his son Adam Tabor; his beloved grandsons, Mason Stephens and Chase Holbrook, and his brother Ron Tabor and his wife Patty.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel and will be officiated by Chaplain Jimm Smedley. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00.
