Regina Sue Dove

Regina Sue Dove, 74, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023.

She was born in Ashland, Kentucky on January 25, 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dock D. Dove, Jr. and Dorothy Kazee Dove; and her only sister and brother in law, Phyllis Dove Hicks and Marty Hicks

Sue taught Business Education at Paul G. Blazer High School and retired following a 34-year career with King’s Daughters Medical Center as Business Manager. She also attended Wildwood Church of God.

“Aunt Boo” as she was known to her family is survived by two nieces,  Angela Sue VanHorn and husband, Stephen, and Marci Hicks Prater and husband, Donny; four great nieces and nephews, Chloe Alyse VanHorn, William Martin Prater, Emma Grace VanHorn and Rylan Andrew Prater.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023, at STEEN FUNERAL HOME 13TH STREET CHAPEL with Pastor Steve Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Ashland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from Noon until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
