Robert Moore (73) of Ashland, KY, received his eternal healing on Monday, April 15, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 10, 1945 in Chattaroy, WV to the late William and Betty Moore. Robert served his country as a military policeman in the United States Air Force. After discharge from the military, he continued his work in law enforcement, and later traveled working many years in construction.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Donna Moore of Ashland, five children: Robert Moore of Lexington, Michelle (Kevin) Cranmer of St. Petersburg, FL, Misty (Christopher) Wagner of Erie, PA, Ashley (Dr. Matthew) Lewis of Ashland, and Kelli (Matthew) Horn of Ashland, 11 grandchildren: Christopher, Tiffany, Andrew, Robby, Jessica, Genica, Kennedie, Harper, Emerson, Lincoln, and Addilyn, six great-grandchildren Casey Jo, Noah, Elliot, Kylee, Kimberly, and Bryson, three brothers: Ron (Linda) Moore of Ashland, Randy (Jo) Moore of Ashland, and Roger (Karen) Moore of Portsmouth, OH, as well as his mother-in-law, Mickey Chasmar of Ashland, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Sandra Mindenhall of Broomfield, CO. and Cynthia Moore.
A memorial service will be held at 7:30 Wednesday evening, April 17, 2019 at Grace Nazarene Church. Pastor James Webster and Pastor Richard Suman will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm till 7:30pm at the Church in Ashland.
Burial services with full military honors will be 11:00amThursday, April 18, 2019 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup County.
