Tonna Lou Brown

Tonna Brown, 63, of Flatwoods, wife of James Brown, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in King’s Daughters Medical Center, following open heart surgery.
She was born January 19, 1955, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Bobby and Dorothy Gentry Lambert. She was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Hanners and a brother, Steve Lambert.
She was a dear friend to everyone she met and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by two sons, Bobby Hanners-Davis, of Maryland, and Shane Brown of Flatwoods; two brothers, Bobby Lambert of New York and Rick Lambert of Ashland; and an adopted granddaughter that she dearly loved, Mikayla Fields.
Funeral services will be held 1pm Monday, April 16, 2018, at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel with Chaplain Jimm Smedley officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1p.m Monday, at the funeral home.
