Wanda Lee Kouns

Wanda Lee Kouns, 89, of Ashland, KY, passed away at the Hospice Care Center on September 19, 2019. She was born on June 12, 1930 in Bosco, KY to the late John Walter and Grace Martin Kouns. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ivan Earl “Jock” Kouns in 2014.
She worked formerly at The Book Rack for 15 years and was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
Wanda is survived by her son Rick Kouns and wife Laura of Bertram, TX; daughters Kim Sutton of Ashland, KY and Heather McDonald and husband Mark of Richmond, KY; a brother David Kouns and wife Debbie of Lebanon, OH; grandchildren Chelsea Sutton, Jessica Sutton, Tyler Sutton, Madison Kouns, Connor Kouns, Brendan Kouns, Austin McDonald and Logan McDonald, and several loving nieces and nephews.
In honoring her wishes, the family will gather at her home at 4744 Canterbury Court, Ashland, KY, to receive friends on Monday, September 23, 2019 beginning at 12:00 Noon and continuing through the day.
