Connie Jean Ramey

Connie Jean (Binion) Ramey, 61, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Kings Daughters Medical Center. Connie was born June 14, 1955 in Ashland to the late Homer G. Haney and Barbara Martin Haney. She was a graduate at Raceland High School. Connie was a thirty-year employee of Third National/ National City/PNC Bank, and was currently working for the Russell Kroger. Connie will forever be remembered for her kind heart, her generous nature, and her distinctive and infectious laugh. She is survived by her son, Brian Binion, of Ashland; a brother, Robert Haney (Theresa) of Wurtland; as sister, Vickie Highfield, of Quincy; her beloved dog Royce; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. The celebration of Connie’s life will be held 11:00am Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Steen Funeral Home, Central Avenue Chapel with Dr. Thomas J. Melvin officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
