Gladys Bias Pitchford, 85, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017, in Forum at Brookside in Louisville.
She was born Aug. 1, 1931, in Logan, W.Va., a daughter of the late Homer Dutch and Gladys Dishman Bias. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe E. Pitchford in 2013; and a sister, Phyllis Warner.
Gladys was a member of Meade Station Church of God and retired after many years of service from the Boyd County Court House.
Survivors include her sons, Dan Pitchford (Jan) of Stockbridge, Ga., and David Pitchford (Jean Marie) of Louisville; a brother, Lucian Bias of Roanoke, Va.; a sister, Linda Hager of Roanoke, Va; and a grandson, Colin Chase Pitchford of Stockbridge.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland with Pastor Rob Jordan officiating. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum in Ashland.
