So sorry to hear about the passing of your father. He was a great man. I knew him as we were members of Ashland First Church several years ago. I now live in Grove City, OH..

I'm so sorry to hear of Doc's passing. We are still in Florida and will not be able to attend his services but my thoughts and prayers are with you all in the family. One day we will meet he and Mary Ruth again. He was a blessing to me in my teenage years, I wouldn't be where I am today without he and Mary Ruth's teaching and prayers. I loved them both and will never forget them as long as I live and am looking forward to seeing them again and thank them for all their prayers and time they spent with me. Love you all.

You have lost your father; I have lost a dear friend and mentor. "Doc" (and Mary Ruth) guided me through the teen years and was my rock, counseling me through the darkest days of my adult life. My life has been richer for having this gentle, godly, loyal, funny/hilarious (no one laughs as quickly and energetically ) man in my life. Your parents demonstrated all that is good in Kingdom lifestyle, churchmanship, marriage and family. I am sad to be unable to attend the celebration of his life but will not be able to come from Idaho.
